Attorney Daniel C. Lang earned his Juris Doctorate from the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware in 2011. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Delaware in 2011 and in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2012. Dan earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2008 from SUNY Alfred in Surveying Engineering Technology. He is a 2004 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
After law school, Dan worked as a Skadden Fellow at Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware from September of 2011 – September of 2013. During his time as a Skadden Fellow, Dan advocated for court-involved youths with disabilities by ensuring that they received adequate mental health, educational, and health care services. Dan’s project was designed to curb what has been phrased the school-to-prison pipeline.
Dan and his wife, Stephanie (a 2003 graduate of Bradford Area High School and optometrist at the Elk County Eye Clinic in Bradford), decided to move back to Bradford in November of 2013 to be closer to their families and to raise a family of their own. They currently have a baby boy, Mason.
After returning to Bradford, Dan practiced as an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Mattie & Alfieri-Causer in Eldred from December of 2013 through April of 2015. During that time, Dan handled a wide variety of legal matters in McKean and Potter Counties, including adoptions, business formations, child custody, child support, civil litigation, contracts, criminal defense, divorce, estate planning, and real estate.
Outside the office, Dan enjoys hunting, fishing, outdoor photography, brewing beer, and almost any athletic activity.
